In line with our ongoing programme of developing the skills of the younger workforce, we are very pleased to announce the arrival of two new staff.
Jack Bennett joins us as a 2nd year apprentice and Tobias Gaunt as a trainee having already completed 2 years of college training. They will develop their existing cabinet making skills under the watchful eye of Richard Evans, our production foreman, and join current apprentice Peter Rivett who is also entering his 2nd year at college.
Our in-house apprentice programme enables all of our younger staff to gain experience in all disciplines as well as the core Cabinetmaking skills. An understanding of machining and finishing techniques is vital for them to become fully rounded craftsmen and they will spend time in each area being trained by the department heads.
