News
We were delighted to welcome ITV News recently when they came to our Rugby design studio and workshops to record details of the very unusual contract to furnish Dover Castle. The story showed that despite the ‘R’ word, innovation and traditional skills based businesses such as N.E.J. Stevenson, were still doing rather well during the recession. The piece was broadcast to the 4,000,000 homes across the Central News region back in March whilst we were heavily involved in the work for English Heritage.
Rebecca Johnson, Central TV’s news reporter (who is often seen presenting the news channel) spent several hours talking to Neil, Fiona and the team learning about the range of work we have produced and inquisitively enquiring about some of our famous clients but true to form we refused to be drawn on naming names!
The story which was given a full 5 minutes airtime was broadcast the same evening. A copy of the film was kindly sent to us by Central News, and is now available for visitors to view at our studio and workshops when they visit us.
