Christian Resources Exhibition, Sandown

The Christian Resources Exhibition is the largest exhibition of its kind in the UK, providing everything needed to resource, equip and empower the Church.

There were over 400 exhibitors taking part in this annual event earlier this month, with companies ranging from Adventure Holidays Providers to Youth Organisations and everything in between, including of course ourselves.

As you can see from the image above, our stand was bedecked appropriately, with images of our completed church furniture mounted to the walls, our bespoke exhibition stand complete with Gothic tracery no less, our range of case studies and the Server Chair, one of the six pieces commissioned for Pope Benedict's visit last year, and graciously loaned to us for display purposes.

It was a long week, with the construction of all the trade stands taking place on Monday 9th May, the event opened on Tuesday and ran through until Friday 13th. Thanks to those of you who came to say hello, it was good to meet you and indeed make some new acquaintances amongst the visiting public and our fellow exhibitors.

With the recession affecting every area of funding we were not entirely surprised that visitor numbers were down on previous years. As it is, our focus has, and always will be, about providing reassurances to like-minded people about the quality of our work, and the type of clients' who have commissioned us previously.
