Tea and cakes anyone?
From the evidence we saw in the press, on the internet and on television, Britain certainly did all that it could to mark the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in a truly joyous fashion and we were no exception.
On Friday 1st June, in what turned out to be one of the few days of the whole period not to see any precipitation, the staff and some family members (young and old) raised a tea cup and to chomped our way through a few scones to mark the event.
